INTRODUCTION TO SPATIAL DESIGN

This module is led by Ms Tan Sin Ai and Mr Paul Nickson Atia.  In this module, students will learn how to design new and out of the boundary architecture models.

EXERCISES 

We were assigned some exercises during class. Exercise 1 (Point and Line). Exercise 2 (Void and Plane). Exercise 3 (Unity and Variety). These exercises were given to aid us in our assignments to understand the concept of Spatial Design more.

Project 1

PROJECT OBJECTIVE
-To Apply and manipulate the elements and principles of
design to achieve specified goals in the design
environment
-To Demonstrate visual and volumetric thinking through the production of spatial design ideas
-To evaluate their study through recording of knowledge
and findings, as well as self examine their learning through introspection (e-portfolio)
-To organize space to demonstrate competency in spatial
design skills

- To creating collages and analytical studies by observing the environment and needs of the residents

-To demonstrate visual and volumetric thinking through the production of spatial design ideas.

-To evaluate their study through recording of knowledge and findings, as well as self-examine their learning through introspection (e-portfolio).

-To organize space to demonstrate competency in spatial design skills.
