ASSIGNMENT 1
In this assignment, we were tasked to create a gift for someone we cannot meet in person due to the hazardous environment. The gift must be created and designed so that it is unique and holds much better value.

Objectives:
1) To train students in the ideation process using the concept of deductive reasoning and questioning
2) To explore various idea presentation techniques and application of mediums
3) To introduce the importance of recording and evaluating ideas
PROGRESS
EmPATHY
I started off with the empathy stage my making a mind map about the info of my friend. I listed a little bit about her and also added her interests and dislikes. We are good friends and video call daily. I used that opportunity to throw in some questions to ask her what she would like for her birthday. Turns out, she is happy to receive anything but I want to give her something unique and helpful to her in her daily life. I couldn't record the video as I might arise her suspicion.
IDEATION
I then brainstormed for ideas to create the final gift for her which will contain my own twist to make it a suprise. I then gave myself more options to consider as it gave a wider perspective of what my friend would like. I also listed out the way the materials would function and came to conclusions on which will suit her the most.
PROTOTYPE
I then designed out the way I wanted my gifts to look like and stated why I chose this design. To elaborate, I also wrote out the functions of the gift and explain why and how it could help my friend in her daily life. I also drew out how the prototypes will look like to show and portray my ideas and create it as some sort of draft
FINAL PROTOTYPE
I created the present and video called my friends to present the gift to her. I'm so glad that she really likes the present. She even said that she would use it everyday.
PRESENTATION
After various trials and considerations,I decided to merge 2 prototypes into a gift called "suprise"as I found out they make a good combination and is able to help her in her daily life. After I was done with the prototype, I moved on to the presentation to create the gift and prepared to present it to my friend.
I was able to complete the project within the dateline given. Then, I compiled all my work together into a PDF file that can be viewed by pressing the button below. Furthermore, I'm grateful for the help from Mr Paul and Ms Delliya. After completing this project, I managed to learn how to think critically and creatively and plan out ideas before creating them and will try to implement this skill in my future assignments.
ASSIGNMENT 2
For this assignment I was tasked to work with several course mates to accomplish the final result. We were tasked to promote and provide guidelines on how creatives can utilize online platforms as the medium of exposure to advertise and promote their work or products especially during these hard times.

Objectives:
1) To create awareness on the current pressing issues that require creative and critical solutions
2) To develop an understanding on the importance of teamwork and working collectively in solving issues/ problems
3) To explore and apply various idea presentation techniques, tools and application of different online platforms
PROGRESS
EMPATHY
For this stage, after discussing within ourselves we came up with questions for the survey. Furthermore, we also did 2 cause studies to get more ideas and perspective from others to think of a proposal to carry out the plan and also choose what art form we are going to promote. During this stage, we did more investigation to make sure we get enough information to carry on to define.
DEFINE
We decided to promote music as it is the art form enjoyed by most people. After determining what we are going to promote, we had to make sure we are promoting it while maintaining social distancing so that no one contracts the virus. In conclusion, we established a music agency to promote indie artists so that they can gain more recognition while showing the world their music.
IDEATION
During this stage, we needed come up with ideas and strategies to promote music and our artists. We also came up with ways to support our promoting strategies that will attract the public's attention. Most importantly we also established our agency's name which is Connectzen and also create our own logo to make us stand out. After listing out our strategies and how to carry them out, we came to the conclusion to do every single strategy to make sure we get a bigger market in our proposal.
PROTOTYPE
For the prototype stage, we then explained further in detail about our strategies and also come up with real life strategies and situations on how we are going to carry it out and promote the artist. So that it will look more professional as a proposal. We even came up with examples that we can apply into the plan.
For presentation, we created a website that can be launched and functional so that it will complete our proposal. We even created posters that can be shared on social media to increase our market to attract more attention towards us.
In conclusion, we have managed to finish this assignment within the time frame given. I have learn new skills such as doing case studies, promoting a certain topic or people, creating websites and also leading a team to reach our goal. Personally I think these skills will be very useful when working with others and also later in life. I am glad that my team and I worked together to finish this assignmnet.
ASSIGNMENT 3
For this assignment we were tasked to work individually to create and design a toy for kids living in the rural area. We should also only use recycled materials, found objects and daily objects. I was given the part of leg and feet to create a toy.

Objectives:
1) To learn how to use the concept of deductive reasoning and questioning in building up the narratives and justification of ideas in the ideation process.
2) To execute ideation into building the prototype of design and demonstration of its application
3) To explore and develop ideas from various sources, materials and techniques
PROGRESS
EMPATHY
I listed out the ideas and elaborated why I came up with those ideas. I also listed out the pros and cons of the toy idea. I also wrote out the materials that are needed so that I know what to use later on while making the toy. After careful consideration and the materials around me, I decided to make the shuttlecock toy.
DEFINE
I listed out the aim and problems that will be faced so that I can find solutions to handling it.
IDEATION
In this stage, I did research on what makes a toy and it's function. Furthermore, I also did research on the types of play that appeal to kids. Since I had to make a toy for legs and feet, I decided to research on the movement of legs so they correspond with the toy that I'm making. In response to that, I also looked the material I have so that I can put them to good use. After doing sufficient research, I decided to incorporate physical and symbolic play that will help the kid's development.
PROTOTYPE
I then plan out the measurements that were necessary and also collected the materials needed. I also did tests to make sure the toy is durable and easy to play. After doing tests and modifying the toy, I had the final product ready for presentation.
PRESENTATION
For the presentation, I showed the final outcome of the toy. Furthermore, I too created a video presentation to demonstrate how the toy works.
In conclusion I had acquired some new skills while making this assignment. I have learnt how to reuse materials and create them into new things. I also learnt how to edit videos so that they are nicer to view. Furthermore, I learnt how to apply design thinking skills as I realize it is very important to apply it in developing projects.
