Module introduction
This module introduces us to fundamental skills for the appropriate communication of architectural design. It engages different means of visualization and expression of space and spatial ideas through architectural drawings to prepare students with the skills required in design projects.

PROJECT 1
For Project 1 we were tasked to draw our own movie poster for our own movie. We can use any medium but the size is standard A2 size.
Progress
MOOD BOARD
The first task was to create a mood board for our movie poster. I searched for the character I wanted to include in my poster along with the colour palette. The character I chose is Xiao from my favourite game, Genshin Impact. The movie is called Invitation to Mundane Life. After finishing my mood board, I proceeded with my drafts
drafts
I made two different drafts for my poster. The one on the left is my first draft of how I want to place my character and background. For the second draft, I added the title and names for the movie characters.
FINAL OUTCOME
REFLECTION
I feel very happy doing this project because I can freely express my creativity. Furthermore, I get to make a poster on one of my favourite characters from my favourite game. The TGC I learnt from this project is lifelong learning and thinking and solving problem skills. I had a lot of fun doing this project since I seldom get to freely express myself through something different, which is not related to architecture.
PROJECT 2
Project 2 is split into 4 parts, 2A,2B,2C,2D. Each part is submitted onto TIMES for marking.Project 2 was about model making for Farnsworth house, Orthographic Projections, Perspectives and Axonometric drawing.
Progress
For my progress on project 2A, I recorded a timelapse video of myself. For 2B-2D, I updated my tutor Dr Illia on padlet every Friday.

About the farnsworth house
REFLECTION
After accomplishing this project, I have learnt and practiced how to draw Orthographic Projections, Axonometry and Perspective views. Personally, my axonometric drawing has improved. Furthermore, I also got to practice my model making skills. The TGC I learnt are Lifelong Learning and Digital Literacy. I had to learn independently how to draw the different views of the Farnsworth house. As for Digital Literacy, I had to record myself and edit a timelapse video of me making the model of Farnsworth house.
PROJECT 3
For Project 3 the task was to compose an A1 size Presentation board for Farnsworth house. The things to include are a perspective view, axonometry, plan view, section views and elevation views.
Progress
For Project 3, I coloured over my previous work from Project 2 to be used in Project 3. I recorded a timelapse video of myself with my phone. After I finished colouring in everything, I scanned my work and composed a digital A1 presentation board.
FINAL OUTCOME
REFLECTION
After accomplishing this project, the TGC skills I learnt are Lifelong Learning and Digital Literacy. I had to learn how to colour in my work with water colour. As for Digital Literacy, I had to record myself and edit a timelapse video of me making the model of Farnsworth house and also composing the poster on canva.
